Neighborhood Bike Works Cookout & Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION
Join us in supporting Neighborhood Bike Works and their mission to teach youth how to fix bikes, give them a chance to earn a bike, and to explore new places by bike.
Seeking seasoned Cyclists ride along side youthful riders traveling to and from Neighborhood Bike Works and the North Georges Picnic Area for lunch and presentations. Romeo Cochrane and Yvette Brown will provide cycling tips, share info about Major Taylor, and answer participant questions. All are encouraged to support this event by leading the way, sweeping, guiding cyclists, and setting an example of our Major Taylor Spirit. You may opt to support all or portions of the ride and picnic.
The ride will start from Neighborhood Bike Works, 3939 Lancaster Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19104, and travel 10-14 miles to the park. We will ride from the shop at 10:00 AM.

9:35am: Riders meet at NBW
10:00am: Riders Roll Out
11:30 Riders arrive at picnic site
11:30 – 1:00 Lunch and presentations
1:15pm: Riders Roll out back to NBW
